In recent weeks, the PeoplePulse tool has
undergone a number of new enhancements designed to make the Reporting Console
even more useful and user-friendly. These changes are now live and available to
all users.
A summary of some of these
enhancements is listed below. PeoplePulse clients can expect to receive a full
explanation of each enhancement and tips on how to get the most out of them in
a separate communications piece arriving soon. 1.
In the Overview Report there is now the option to include a Strengths and Weaknesses
Summary. As the name suggests, the Strengths and Weaknesses Summary shows you
a list of the top 5 weighted responses in your survey, and the bottom 5 areas
in need of the most attention. You also have the option of selecting how many
Strengths and Weaknesses to display on the page. This enhancement is a fantastic
way to get a quick gauge on the key action areas arising from your survey. 2.
The maximum allowable characters in the 'Question:' text field in the survey-building
module has been extended from 100 characters with spaces to 250 characters characters
with spaces. This has increased usability by allowing more of the question label
that survey respondents see to be viewed in reports. 3.
Any answer lists that make use of our scoring facility (eg. Excellent = a score
of 5) can now display results as 'text' (eg. 'Excellent') OR display as scores
(eg. '5') in our Responses Report. This additional function will prove particularly
useful for those wish to export their PeoplePulse results for a more in-depth
statistical analysis. 4. A Radar
Graph has been added to our existing charting options within the Question Group
Report. The Radar Graph enables users to draw visual comparisons between any questions
or pre-loaded data on the same graph. See example below:
5.
The entire PeoplePulse charting functionality has also now been upgraded. The
charts display a richer colour scheme and are more interactive (eg. you can rotate
or slice pie graphs online). Importantly, you can now right mouse click on any
chart and save them as a JPG image. This in turn allows you to easily insert PeoplePulse
charts into any Word document, PowerPoint presentation, or website.
We
hope you will find these enhancements useful, and stay tuned for more system developments
later this year.

Warm Welcome to our Newest Team Member! |
With much sadness do we report that our
highly valued Sales & Marketing Co-ordinator - Ms Joey Franks - will be leaving
us on Friday 23rd May. Joey's partner has secured a new job in Scotland of all
places, and Joey has decided to move with him and see whether she can survive
the elements. Joey has been a fantastic staff member and a great asset to our
team - we wish her well and will miss her greatly!
Thankfully we have
appointed a new replacement for Joey and have been busy training her over the
last 4 weeks. Melissa is a great addition to our team and you can find out more
about her by reading her profile below:

you Know? . . . | |
"Response
rates vary widely for different types of surveys. Customer satisfaction surveys
and market research surveys often have response rates in the 10% - 30% range.
Employee surveys typically have a response rate of 25% - 60%. Regardless of the
type of survey you are conducting, you can have a major effect on the number of
respondents who complete your survey." -
